Privacy Policy

Scope and current status

This Privacy Policy applies to the RENEW event website operated for The Fellowship at Bend. It covers this website and does not replace the privacy practices of organizations or services linked from it.

Submitting a website form sends the information you provide to the RENEW team for event coordination. A submission expresses interest or requests contact; it does not by itself guarantee participation, reserve a role, accept a donation, or approve a vendor application.

Information handled

Like most hosted websites, the hosting and delivery services may automatically receive technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic events.

Website forms may collect contact details, interests, availability, donation details, accessibility questions, prayer commitments, and messages. Submitted text is delivered through Resend to the RENEW team. Image previews remain on your device and are not included in the form submission.

If you choose an email, telephone, map, calendar, or external website link, your device opens that service directly. Information you then provide is handled by that service and, for direct communications, by the RENEW team.

How information is used

Technical information may be used to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website. Form submissions, emails, and calls may be used to answer questions, coordinate event participation, evaluate donation or vendor interest, and plan RENEW activities. Information will not be used for a materially different purpose without an appropriate notice or consent when required.

Sharing and disclosure

Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure, or deliver the website; by a service you intentionally open; or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete an organizational transition.

RENEW does not sell personal data and does not use personal data from this website for targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Services your browser may contact

The site is hosted through Vercel, delivers form submissions through Resend, loads typefaces from Google Fonts, displays map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and links to Google Maps and Google Calendar. Those providers may receive submitted or technical request information and apply their own terms and privacy policies. RENEW does not control their independent practices.

Cookies and browser storage

The current RENEW site code does not set cookies, use local storage, run analytics pixels, or operate advertising trackers. External services may use their own technologies when your browser connects to them.

Retention and security

RENEW may keep received communications only as reasonably needed for event coordination, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, safety, and legal obligations. Resend, email, and hosting providers may retain delivery data or technical logs according to their own settings and policies.

Reasonable safeguards are used for the website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not place confidential medical, financial, government-identification, or other highly sensitive information in a website form or ordinary email.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may request confirmation of processing, access to or a portable copy of personal data, correction, deletion, and information about third-party disclosures. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. RENEW does not currently perform those opt-out activities.

Send a privacy request using the contact below and describe the right you wish to exercise. RENEW may need enough information to verify your identity and may provide an appeal path if a request is denied where applicable. You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children's privacy

This general-audience website is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not provide personal information through it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information through a direct communication may contact RENEW to request review or deletion.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the event website adds features or changes service providers. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice.
